That’s what you are.

I brush my teeth first thing every day.
Oh my god… Am I teeth???
Seriously though, I’m intrigued, but what do you mean?

Brooke: lately, more and more, I’ve been worming my way into the local filmmaking community. I notice they often have temporary music and haphazardly mixed sound in their rough cuts, which I would instinctively want to fix immediately. But I’m blown away by the amount of attention and care they put into lighting, which to me would be an afterthought.
But I also thought of other examples, like the fact that when I have mundane responsibilities to take care of, I often put them aside to focus on creative work (because they will never be “all done”), even though that would make a lot of people nervous.
Being demonstrably committed to the creative work gives me a better connection to the life force, which in turn makes the mundane chores into more of an afterthought, and the important ones still get done anyway.
I think the main reason I felt compelled to say that was because my experience on a film set yesterday helped re-affirm my sense of identity in a way that working in an office doesn’t.
